Diamondback® refrigeration line sets are designed especially for the ductless and ducted mini and multi-split air conditioning and heat pump system products requiring insulation on both lines and flared connections. The copper tubes are ASTM B280, annealed, refrigerant grade, ACR type, individually insulated with Mitsubishi Electric's exclusive "twin tube" - single piece molded - closed-cell foam insulation. The figure eight shaped insulation has the highest grade UL resistance available for extended outdoor applications. Line sets come in diameter combinations for M and P series and CITY MULTI indoor units and are available in various lengths to meet most requirements for quick, cost effective field installations. All four (4) connections are flared and provided with forged brass flare nuts protected with plastic shipping inserts.
