10K floor sensor (article. 236497-001) is to be used with dual sensing digital thermostat (article 236487-001) or dual sensing dial thermostat (article 236477-001). The sensor allows for the thermostat to provide floor limitation or set point control of the floor. The floor sensor is a 10K ohm type III thermistor with a 9.8 ft (3 m) lead. If the lead needs to be extended, use two-conductor 18 AWG wire to a maximum of 100 ft (30.48 m). All connections should be protected using heat shrink tubing or two-layers of electrical tape. Floor sensors should be placed in the floor half way between radiant piping.
