The N1R Hand Notcher makes a clean 30 deg "V" shaped cut in 24 ga (0.71 mm) galvanized steel. Maximum throat depth is 13/16 in. Upper cutting jaw is drop forged high impact alloy steel. Hook design of cutting jaw facilitates notching corners or take-off tabs to desired depth without slipping. Long wearing cutting jaw and hardened stamped steel components feature rust-resistant nickel plate and black oxide finishes. The Hand Notchers also features Ergonomic Redline™ Handle technology. An Engineered handle opening compliments the natural power stroke of any user's hand and maximizes the powerful 7:1 mechanical advantage of compound leverage head to handle linkage.
